Classification of tubular fuses
1. By region of use:
Due to the different starting points and experiences of industrial development in various countries and regions in the world, there are still great differences in the design and application of small tubular fuses. There are other specifications that apply only to a limited extent.
2. According to fusing characteristics:
According to different application requirements, the same type of fuse is designed with a variety of different fusing characteristics, and fuses can be divided into two categories: fast blowing and slow blowing, and subdivided into ultra-fast blowing; medium-speed blowing and special Slow fuse, etc.
3. According to breaking capacity:
From the size of the maximum current that the fuse can safely break, the fuse can be divided into two categories: high breaking and low breaking, and fuses with enhanced breaking capacity in between.
4. According to the external size:
There are many dimensions of tubular fuses, the most commonly used are: Φ6X30 (3AG); Φ5X20; Φ4X15 (2AG); Φ3X10; Φ2X7, etc.
5. According to the structure type:
There are two types of welding connection methods between the end cap and the melt of the tubular fuse, which are: internal welding and external welding.
